Pellonia is provided securely over the Internet as a managed service. This is sometimes called Software as a Service or just 'SaaS'. It means you get all the advantages of our platform without the need to manage any technology.
In addition to managing the platform we meet the signalling telephony costs, reminder telephony and texting costs and manage the telephone lines. This allows you to focus entirely on providing great service. Take a look at the screenshots:
If you are using Pellonia to power a safety Confirmation Service customer check-in can be achieved by pressing a button on a Safety Confirmation Telephone or by making a short phone call from a regular mobile or landline telephone (with or without a pin number). Mobile or lone workers typically check-in from a mobile telephone and their position is also recorded using 'mobile phone location'.
The interface is ‘web based’. This means your operators can securely access Pellonia using a standard web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. There is no software to install on your network and we ensure the system is always up and running for you. The interface is simple to use with different functional area represented in different colours. For example all end user screens have a yellow theme.
You are given an easy to use but powerful interface that lets you manage the system, create and manage end user accounts and operate your new services easily. There are a number of levels of security so different operators can be restricted to different areas of the system. We can create security levels to perfectly meet the needs of your organisation.
For each end user you can specify a number of different settings and where being used for safety confirmation you can also specify several emergency contacts in the event an alert is raised. This data can be used day to day by your own operators and can also used by the system to send automatic communication to the end user and the emergency contacts.
For each end user you can specify several emergency contacts. It is not compulsory to specify emergency contacts within the system but by doing so they can notified by automatic telephone call, text message and SMS under the circumstances you specify such as an alert conditions being raised. Real operators can also use the contact information.
You can define for each user any number of deadlines by which the user must have checked in for any given day of the week. Each day of the week can be different. You can also set a window of opportunity for each deadline which determines the number of minutes prior to that deadline that the end user must have sent their safety confirmation signal.
There are a number of other settings for each individual deadline defined, including whether or not the end user is to be automatically reminded to check in and if so how minutes before and whether to make an automated telephone calls, SMS or emails to remind them to do so.
There are always exceptions to a rule. For any given day in the future you can alter the schedule of an end user, remove a deadline, change the settings on a deadline or create new deadlines. This gives you unparalleled flexibility. You can also mark a whole day as being ‘inactive’ if for example the end user won’t be using the system on that day.
The same powerful scheduling and exception handling which is available for safety confirmation can be employed purely to make automated phone calls, text messages and emails to end users with or without safety confirmation. This provides unparalleled capability to remind end users of important tasks such taking medication or attending appointments.
Depending on how an end-user profile is configured an alert condition can be raised and assigned to a system user to be investigated. For example, if a customer has not checked in within an agreed time window an alert can be raised. Pellonia makes it clear to system users that there is an alert condition on an end-user account.
You can define at a system wide or account level specific pre-recorded telephone, text or email messages to suit your client needs. You can create and assign highly personalised messages to not only individual users but specific events.
